Compared to traditional deep-well anodes and distributed anodes, flexible anodes have the following advantages:

The basic structure of the flexible anode is: internal anode core material + coke filling powder + external wrapping fabric + external mechanical weaving protection net, because it can be flexibly bent and shaped like a thicker cable to become a flexible anode or a cable anode.
According to different internal anode core materials, flexible anodes can be divided into two types. One is an early conductive polymer flexible anode with a thermoplastic conductive polymer as an anode, represented by a product of Raychem; another is a flexible anode. The core material is a combination of MMO/Ti wire and internal conductive cable. Its anode material is MMO/Ti wire. It serves the disadvantages of relatively low discharge density of the original generation of flexible anodes and is not suitable for large discharge density. The advantages of the MMO/Ti anode are its high density and long life. Currently, the two flexible anodes coexist in the market at the same time. However, from the perspective of future trends, the flexible anode technology based on MMO/ti has obvious advantages and has begun to show a strong growth momentum.
