AZ91D Magnesium Alloy Harmonic Drive Reducer Housing for Robot Joint Actuator

Magnesium has a density of only 1.74 g/cm3, about two thirds of aluminum and one quarter of steel, allowing the housing to be 30-40 percent lighter than an equivalent aluminum shell while keeping the stiffness required by the reducer interface.
