Product Description
Pure molybdenum melts at approximately 2623°C and cannot be added directly into aluminum or titanium melts. This HB brand AlMo10 aluminum molybdenum master alloy (ingot, 1-3 kg) pre-alloys the molybdenum, lowering the melting point so the molybdenum element can be added efficiently. The grade is AlMo10 (10% Mo), balanced with aluminum.
Produced and supplied from Hunan, China, it is primarily used for aerospace aluminum component melting. Charging broken pieces or ingots into the melt provides high molybdenum recovery, uniform composition, and low segregation.

- Master alloy for aerospace and defense aluminum components
- Improves heat resistance and corrosion resistance
- Refines grain structure for reliable service life
- Aluminum alloy melting: Add molybdenum to cast and wrought aluminum alloys for grain refinement and second phase control, raising recrystallization temperature, high temperature strength and corrosion resistance.
- Titanium alloy melting additive: Master alloy for introducing molybdenum into titanium alloys, avoiding unstable melting of pure molybdenum.
- Superalloy and refractory melting: Additive for nickel and cobalt base superalloys.
- Research and new materials: Powder metallurgy feedstock for Al-Mo composite powders and alloy development.
- Melting point far below pure molybdenum, dissolves easily in Al / Ti melts
- High molybdenum recovery, uniform composition, low segregation
- Forms: alloy ingot / broken pieces (lump) / granule, convenient for charging
