Product Description

High Capacity Aluminum Alloy Sacrificial Anode for Seawater to Moist Soil Applications

This high capacity aluminum alloy sacrificial anode provides reliable cathodic protection across a versatile range of environments: from aggressive seawater and sea mud, through brackish water and moist soil, to low and medium resistivity ground conditions up to 3,000 ohm·cm. With current capacity up to 2600 Ah/kg and efficiency up to 90%, it delivers industry-leading protection at the lowest cost per ampere-hour.

Versatile Environmental Performance

  • Seawater (20-30 ohm·cm): The aluminum anode's native environment. Excellent current output with uniform consumption pattern. Ideal for ship hulls, offshore platforms, and marine structures in continuous seawater immersion
  • Sea Mud and Brackish Water (30-500 ohm·cm): Retains electrochemical activity even when buried in sediment. Aluminum-zinc-indium alloy avoids the passivation that affects other materials when covered by silt or marine growth
  • Moist Soil (500-2,000 ohm·cm): Delivers adequate protective current in clay, loam, and damp soil conditions. Can be used for buried pipelines and storage tank bottoms in areas with natural soil moisture
  • Low to Medium Resistivity Soil (≤3,000 ohm·cm): Functions effectively in soils with sufficient moisture content. Prepackaged backfill option available to extend the operable range
