Product Description
30% yttrium master alloy engineered to deliver outstanding high-temperature strength and creep resistance in magnesium alloys. Enables magnesium components to perform reliably at temperatures up to 300°C, opening new frontiers in aerospace and automotive lightweight design.
Yttrium forms thermally stable intermetallic phases (Mg24Y5) that maintain strength at temperatures where conventional magnesium alloys fail. Tensile strength retention exceeds 80% at 250°C.
Y-rich precipitates effectively pin grain boundaries and dislocations at elevated temperatures, reducing creep rates by orders of magnitude compared to conventional Mg-Al-Zn alloys.
Y addition improves the protective oxide layer stability on magnesium alloys, providing enhanced corrosion resistance in atmospheric and mild chemical environments.
We provide full dual-use item export license application support for shipments to non-sensitive countries, ensuring smooth customs clearance and regulatory compliance.
