The B4C-WJ45-07 water jet cutting nozzle (mixing tube) is engineered for high-pressure abrasive water jet cutting systems operating at pressures up to 6000 bar (87,000 PSI). Manufactured from hot pressed boron carbide, this nozzle assembly delivers exceptional wear resistance in the most demanding cutting applications including titanium alloys, hardened tool steels, advanced ceramics, granite, and composite materials.
Water jet mixing tubes face a unique combination of erosive wear from garnet abrasive and corrosive attack from high-pressure water. B4C outperforms WC in both aspects:

The mixing tube bore must maintain micron-level concentricity and surface finish to preserve cutting jet coherency. Hot pressed B4C provides a fine-grained, homogeneous microstructure that wears evenly, maintaining cutting precision throughout the nozzle's service life. Pressureless sintered ceramics cannot match this bore quality consistency.
The B4C-WJ45-07 is compatible with most major water jet cutting systems and standard sapphire or diamond water orifices (0.25-0.35mm). Custom bore sizes and lengths available upon request.
