Product Description

Aluminum Ballast Tank Anodes for Marine Cathodic Protection
Our aluminum ballast tank anodes are manufactured using low-iron, high-purity aluminum alloys specifically designed for marine cathodic protection against corrosion in chlorinated environments.
Applications
These aluminum anodes provide effective corrosion protection for: sea platforms, ship hulls, storage tanks, underwater pipes, piers, and crude oil storage tanks with chlorine ions on inner surfaces of structures exposed to corrosion.

Understanding Cathodic Protection
Cathodic protection (CP) is used to control the corrosion of metal surfaces by making them the cathode of an electrochemical cell. For structures like long pipelines where passive galvanic protection isn't adequate, an external DC electrical power module provides sufficient current.
Company Overview
With over 16 years of experience as a professional sacrificial anode supplier, we manufacture:
  • Magnesium anodes (ASTM-G97)
  • Zinc anodes (ASTM B418-95 US MILL 18001K)
  • Al-Zn-In anodes (GAIII)
  • High silicon cast iron anodes (ASTM-A518-3, BS1591)
Our anodes are sold worldwide across North America, Middle East, Asia, and South America, with annual production of approximately 5,000 metric tons. All products undergo regular independent third-party testing in the USA to maintain consistent high quality. Our plant controls raw material resources, enabling competitive pricing and reliable service.

Frequently Asked Questions
What do Magnesium sacrificial anodes do?
Magnesium sacrificial anodes prevent corrosion of metal in salt or fresh water, or in soil through galvanic cathodic protection systems. They protect underground gas, oil and water pipelines, storage tanks, ships, port facilities, power plants, and irrigation systems by corroding instead of the protected structure.
